Pacific Manufacturing to Open in August

Pacific Manufacturing announced that the construction is complete and production is scheduled to begin in August.

The company plans to hire in phases, they have 20 employees and plan to increase by five in the coming week.

Pacific Manufacturing Tennessee, Incorporated will manufacture parts for the automobile industry, eventually creating 190 jobs on 40 acres across from McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport and adjacent to Kirkland's Distribution Center.

The 183,000 square foot manufacturing facility, which came with a total investment of $30 million, is expected to reach full capacity in 2019, and an additional 20 acres will be available to accommodate growth.

The company has five manufacturing facilities in Japan, two in Korea, and one in Thailand and Taiwan.

A few of the Japanese-based company,s leading customers include Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Toyota.
